copying screen videos

quick time allows copying screen action but i cannot seem to get any audio unless i select the web cam microphone ,even recording the screen ,no other selection works .Besides camtasia quicktime is the next best solution except for the audio has anyone used this ,is there some audio selection i am missing

Maybe a mini-jack to mini-jack bridge between the line output and line input will help. QuickTime doesn't seem to be able to capture the output, but only record the input. Otherwise there are utilities like WireTap that can help, but you'll have to splice the audio onto the video after the recording...
