My brother's computer went bad and he had to reformat it. (PC running Win2000). He has his songs on his ipod still. Is there anyway he can put the songs back on his computer??? I've looked at apple's support and all I can see is that you can only sync from computer to ipod, not the other way around.

Thanks!

Not sure about on Windows but I know that there are several 3rd party apps that allow you to do this on the mac side. Might just search around. Or try an iPod specific site.

[Edit] For Mac, www.versiontracker.com has iPodRip which is perfect - maybe see if Version Tracker has any PC stuff, or hunt around ipodlounge.com or ipoding.com - hope you can recover them!
