Copyrighting / watermarking on photos?

Can anyone give me hints on either a program or way of putting a watermark on my photo's?

The new Lightroom 3 has this feature built in.

Any basic image editor can do it. A good free one is GIMP.

Watermarking

Best way I have found to watermark my iPhone images is iWatermark.

Its only $.99 but is more feature filled and simpler then the others. The developers have been updating it regularly and have responded to my requests. Since I am a photographer this app is important to me.

I watermark my iPhone photos even though they are not the same quality as my Canon produces but they are my property and I want them to remain that way even though I email them around.
