Besides calling, is there a way online to find out if the stores in your area are actually corporate stores or are resellers/franchise? As you know, some resellers use all the AT&T branding and appear corporate.

Thanks

I don't know if it's any help to you, but they do have this site.

When you search for stores near you, I believe the corporate stores are all of the listings without "Authorized Reseller."

Yeah i've been using it but I can't distinguish between corporate stores and resellers. Thanks though.

In this example, the first is a franchise, the second is their own store.

I noticed that the Corporate stores won't be capitalized and the Franchise ones are all capitals. All the Corporate store have It like this ( Cingular Wireless ). I was wondering too and I found out by knowing my stores and the results were true.

If your local listings are unclear, use the Google Earth .kmz that can be downloaded from this page. According to AT&T, it only includes company-owned stores.

I also believe when you call and the Cingular has a automated menu, that is a corporate store. But that's just my unscientific discovery...
