Sorry if this should go in Digital Photography but since I am preparing an order for the ipad Pro 2 (12.9") (woohoo!!), I am hoping its appropriate here. So I want to be able to transfer the raw photos I shoot on my Canon 5d Mark III camera to the IPP. Apple has both the standard lightning to camera adapter (usb2) and lightning to camera usb3 adapter. I dont care how fast the transfer is, I take small amount of photos at a time, I am just concerned because the camera's usb end that would plug into the adapter is usb2. Apple Online reviews for adapter, some say it works for them and some say they get an error message.

And will the standard camera usb2 lightning to camera adapter even be compatible with the ipad pro 2? Sure sounds like a safer bet, but as a senior it is just a tad confusing for me.
