I'm trying to upgrade my RAM on my SR 2.4 MBP 15"

Question1 I go through the kingston ram selector and it shows me this product code: KTA-MB667K2/4G When I try and buy this on toppreise dot ch The suppliers list this as mac mini memory! It also seems very cheap compared to apple price for RAM. Is this a mistake from the kingston website or the correct code but suppliers describing it wrong.

Question2 Will my old 2GB of RAM fit inside a mini?

I don't want to order the wrong stuff so any help appreciated!

Cheers
Peter

Just did the same thing and stuck my old MBP ram in my Mini after upgrading to 4GB. My 1.66 CD Mini flies with 2GB ram!

The mini really isn't that intimidating to open. Just go slowly and don't force anything. I bought a putty knife at wal mart for about $3 that worked great for getting the case apart.

SR 2.4 take DDR2 667 types of memory, anything will work...

Unless your Mac Mini is intel core dual or newer, I dont think it will work..

well I haven't bought the mini yet. Was waiting to see if it gets updated in January :)

Will the SR 2.4 MBP 2GB RAM fit the current Mac mini?
