Corrupt Safari

Hi. Needing help with this cant find any solutions anywhere.

Have iMac late 2012 27" running Catalina.
Have 3 user accounts.
My main admin user account cant open Safari without Safari just crashing, cant open Safari long
enough to access any menus, so cant clear any caches.
Have tried safe mode no change, have deleted all data in the
Safari Library, it just gets rewritten and crashes as before.
Have tried reinstalling iOS.

But in either of the other User profiles Safari doesn't crash !!!! works fine.

Any advice will be greatly appreciated.

Try to install OnyX.

Perhaps the solution lies in discovering what things you have installed into your main account that you DO NOT HAVE in the other accounts.

Something in there is mucking things up.
It's "finding it" that could be the hard part.

There's an app out there called "etrecheck" that could help.

Sorry or the delay in getting back to you. So far so good, have at least managed to run the app and delete some straggler bits of software that got left behind after removing programs.

Fingers crossed all sorted.
