Hello,

I'm new here, so bear with me. When I downloaded Firefox, I opened the dmg file which created the application. All good.

But, when I come to delete Firefox's dmg file, Firefox instantly becomes corrupted when you try and open it (question mark appears). Am I doing something wrong here? Aren't I suppose to preserve Firefox's dmg file?

Thanks

You do need to drag the application from the disk image to your hard drive to ensure that you can continue to use it. You can the application from the disk image, but you won't be able to use it unless you open it again.

You need to drag the Firefox application to the Application file of your HD (or wherever). Then you can eject the mounted dmg of Firefox, and throw the dmg in the trash.

Ah!, finally working!. I knew there was a way, but struggled as I'm on a Mac learning curve. (fairly new)

Thanks fellows.
