iPod Corrupted iPod Problem

Hey guys i'm experiencing the worst problem ever ( well to me )
My iPod got corrupted and must be restored! But these days i didn't
sync my music and videos, all i do was drag it to my iPod.
So no, i don't have my songs and videos backup in my iMac.
So what i did was plug my iPod and open up Senuti, but it
won't detect my iPod. So im asking you all iPod maniac :)

Please can anyone give me resolution/ or any way out?
i really need help to add songs to my iPod again

Well i told you, i got no backup in my itunes..
There are only 50 songs in my iMac and about 2850 songs in my iPod!
So i got no 2850 songs backup
 
Looks like you may need to find a friend with some data recovery tools.

This situation is Exhibit A of my case for auto-syncing. The iTunes Library is the core of Apple's media system, not the iPod. iPods are portable manifestations of the Library (or portions thereof), with some added functionality in some cases (like the touch and the iPad); they are not designed to be standalone units.

Back to the OP: If you manage to get your music back, I strongly suggest getting an external hard drive, and have the iTunes Library location point to it. That way, you have a "backup" (i.e. the Library), and it's not taking up space on your computer's main hard drive-- which is probably the most common reason for deleting music after adding it manually to the iPod.
 
There is a small chance. If you enabled disk mode on the iPod, you might, just might, be able to recover the data from the drive-- preferably using someone else's computer and without running iTunes. By enabling "Show hidden files", you can look for the "iPod_Control" directory, pull the sub-folders from there, transfer those back to your computer somehow and repopulate your iTunes library from that. Then, when you restore, your media will be available to resync.

If you didn't enable disk mode, then this won't help.

I do not know, but when i connect my iPod to my MAC, it doesnt recognize it in Senuti,Finder or anything else except for itunes of course that tells me to RESTORE..

So now my way is downloading all my music manually where there is 2900 songs :( im currently borrowing my friends ipod to temporarily put the music there, while i reach 2900 songs again.

SO ANYONE IS THERE A BETTER SOLUTION? I WILL DONATE $5 TO YOUR PAYPAL FOR SURE!

Why can’t you go for the help of iPod recovery software to recover music from iPod. To restore music from ipod, it is very important that your iPod is enabled for disk access. You can easily set that up. To enable disk mode, connect the iPod to your computer. In iTunes, click the iPod’s name under Devices. Click the Summary tab, and then, select the checkbox to Enable disk use and click the Apply button. The software is capable of recovering all formats of audio and video files.
