I'm looking at getting this RAM for a MacBook CD 1.83Ghz White. Manufacturer part number VS2GSDSKIT667D2.

Supposedly its got a lifetime warranty and is about a third cheaper than the Crucial equivalent with whom I'd usually go for. Has anyone had any experience with this stuff?

Yes, I can highly recommend this stuff, we bought it for my girlfriend's MacBook, and it's worked flawlessly.

We have had loads of problems with the MacBook, but none could be possibly related to the RAM.

I would vouch for this stuff.

Got it from Scan.co.uk

Rich.

It *is* DDR2. The Value line from Corsair is always good quality stuff for fairly good prices. The only cheap thing about it is the price.

Its got a lifetime warranty so if it doesn't work then I can always get them to replace it. Besides which, I did some digging through the forums where some guy was asking about two different models of Corsair RAM on Newegg, one was this stuff, the Value Select Memory and the other was the equivalent Mac Specific memory, for like 30% more and he was asking for advice on which to go for. People were saying go for the Mac specific one until one guy noticed that the product codes were the same for both sets, the Mac specific memory was just relabelled Value Select stuff. ;)
