Does Apple sell the parts to replace a broken screen directly or do I have to send it to them for repair? Anyone know how much a new panel would cost? Thanks!!!

You are still within the 1 year warranty so Apple will fix it for free unless you caused the damage. You have to send it to them or take it to an Apple store or authorized reseller
The damage was caused by the owner not Apple. Would you still have to send it to them for repair or can you just buy the parts from them? Thanks!!!
You cannot buy the parts directly from Apple. You can buy the panel from eBay for example but in the end, you should let Apple do it. It's easier and might be even cheaper
