In Canada its only 50$ discount, but they also dropped the price of the air by 50$ to align with our dollar being worth mroe now.

Student discount only covers for my taxes, it sucks.

I need to get my next mac off amazon. But now California is going to charge us for tax on online purchases as well. I need a way to import goods without tax again 10% sales tax is too much :(

How does the education discount work is there different levels of discount?

My eldest is 14 and was thinking of getting her an ipad2 but might just get her an 11" air base model if the discount is good.

The family will use it so how do you prove it's hers to be entitled for the discount as i might just go into store on my own tomorrow and buy it.

There are different levels in the UK. The link in my sig covers them.

Elsewhere I think there is only one discount for students.

thank you great post, just read it

This will be a 4% discount and maybe i can take her as proof

If it's worth it, probably not. Getting a 14 year old out of bed to go into the city early in the morning... rather not.

It'll be easier just using quidco if it's not FE or HE discount.
