Couch potato

It seems since I got my iPad I have been using my couch more and more. Laying back and surfing the web is much more relaxing then sitting at a desk.

Anyone find them self on the couch or somewhere else more since the iPad?

Just a thought.

I already solved that one a week after i got my ipad 3g

I have a walmart treadmill, well it is called a golds gym 450. But i think walmart is the only one that sells them.

It has a wide lip across the front panel half way up. the only problem is the iPad blocks the built in fan on the tread mill so i had to go by a clipon fan whil i use the treadmill.
It also has 2 nice side pockets on the front to put refreshment like a can of coor's to make the workout enjoyable

In the recliner at home ... In the bunk in my RV ... At the breakfast table.

It makes the Internet much more convenient than I ever thought it would be. I've hardly sat at the computer desk since the iPad came along.

On the couch with the iPad, that is.

Way more comfortable than sitting at the computer table.

Or sitting in the car during lunch break.
Or at the hair salon instead of the magazines.
Or at Mom's house.

Using it to keep company occupied is risky.... They might not want to leave!

Then again I use a recliner as my computer chair so I'm always in my recliner

Nice setup. Though I don't believe I have ever consumed alcohol while trying to exercise.

Couch potato mode encouraged by iPad is right. The sedentary lifestyle I keep reading is most unhealthy. Now if I can figure out how to use my iPad while bike riding I'd be set.

Put the bike on an indoor trainer and load the peloton or apple fitness app on the ipad

This! I let myself watch only certain shows on the treadmill -- that way if I want to binge? You better work, girl Want to see another episode, keep on jogging. Works out well if you have the discipline.

Vegging on my couch, watching TV, playing games or browsing forums on my iPad mini during commercials—that’s my guilty pleasure. I should get an exercise bike, but I don’t think I have space.
I also use my 12.9” iPad on my couch for productivity, and sometimes I do work on my couch with my bigger laptop. I like to be on my couch as much as possible.

This is why I’ve moved completely away from the PC over the last half decade. I have no reason to sit hunched up at my computer desk anymore when I have an iPad & iPhone for the internet and a Nintendo Switch Lite and Steam Deck for gaming.

I can’t remember the last time I sat at my desk!
