Maybe this is a silly question, but does the usual "Share-->Use as Wallpaper" not work the same on the iPhone X? You should be able to position the picture as you need, and just turn off Perspective scaling if you don't want it moving around with phone movement.

Yes, that’s possible. However, then the car doesn’t fit on the screen.
