Resolved Could anyone possibly recommend me SSD for my MBP 8.1?

I wish to buy a SSD (around 120GB) for my macbook pro 8.1 (2011 early, 13 inch), could anyone possibly recommend me some SSDs that has been confirmed working well with MBP 8.1? (some SSDs do not work with this model I found on other forums)

I just put a 240GB Intel 520 in my late 2011 MBP. I love it, it is so much faster and loads apps almost instantly. While the 520 is one of the more pricey SSDs it comes with a 5 year warranty and intel allegedly spent a year working out the kinks with the firmware. Install was a breeze and a clean install of Lion took about an hour via internet recovery. I would highly recommend a 520.

how about: OCZ Agility3 120G SATA3 2.5" Solid State HDD (SSD) , 3 Years Warranty (Max Write up to 500MB/s ) , SandForce 2281 Controller?

The agility's get good reviews and I almost bought one. There are a lot of people that use them and speak highly of them. I would look for one with positive reviews, and in your budget, just don't scrap the bottom of the barrel.

One thing to check I believe some of the early 2011 MBP came with SATA II.

Samsung 470 or Samsung 830. Samsung makes the entire drive in house. Very reliable and I think a 3 year warranty.
