I was just wondering if the ‘blooming’ effect ccould have been adressed in M2 12.9’ as it supposedly has the same display? Or there have been other ‘cures’ already which I have missed?

I have 11’ Pro 11, however, would potentially consider 12.9’ for the display if it has issues sorted out…

I doubt so.

Anyway, blooming isn't really than noticeable unless you have high contrast focused areas against black background.

How often do you use the tablet in total darkness, and work against a background that's predominantly black with small areas of high contrast?

And blooming is not noticeable when surfing webpage in dark mode -- white text against black background.

It's apparently the exact same display - exact same everything but with a chip that has a 2 instead of a 1. Wouldn't get your hopes up.
