Hey,
[//NOT SURE IF THIS IS POSTED IN CORRECT FORUM\\]
Anyway...

I was wondering if i could someone connect my xbox to my iMac i7 [10.6.3]
and be able to see my xbox screen on my Mac, basically replacing my TV but only to view my xbox.

Thanks for any help.

oh right, i thought the 21.5 and 27 late 09 models were 'i7' what is the name of my model then, like you have the g5 and shiz?

thanks.

My iMac is Core 2 Duo, just like you. Only the high-end 27" is either i5 or i7, others are still Core 2 Duo

Here is a device that allows the usage of your Mac or PC for use as a monitor. I found this admist a Google search, mind you.
eyeTV

EyeTV is horrible! There is VERY noticeable lag and it only allows you to get 480p. I would invest on monitor instead.

ok thanks mate,

so there is no possible way to play my xbox on my iMac?

With EyeTV it's possible but not very nice experience so you're better off getting something just for the X360. A 22" with HDMI is ~200$, much better than playing on iMac's screen, even better than on 27" IMO
