Could iCloud Photo Library Be Corrupted By Beta?

I realize that there are risks involved with installing beta software and there are bugs and other issues that someone would have to accept and work around - however I'm wondering if there is any real risk to my iCloud Photo Library. I have a fairly large library of almost 50,000 items and would hate for anything weird to happen to them because of a device accessing the library from beta software. I'm very tempted by the new iPad features and would only update my iPad at this point and leave my iPhone on iOS 10. However if my photos are at risk I'd wait for the general release in the fall.

Is there any reason to be concerned about iCloud Photo Library corruption or other major issues with Photos stemming from using the beta on one of my devices?

unlikely, but anything can happen. And I had corruption problems with stable versions of Apple Photos... Have a backup

In full agreement with the above. When you have beta software about anything is possible. Always keep a backup just in case. That being said, it's not being reported by people, so it's unlikely.

Not a corruption of the library but installing the beta will have almost the same behavior as a phone restore and cause your photo library to go through the annoying process of initially only showing the photos on your phone then uploading them to the photo library again before it then shows the rest of the library. I have a 50k library and installed the beta this afternoon and still going through the processes of restoring the photo library.
