I was on a tumblr blog that featured pornography and I was on it for about 15-20 minutes browsing through videos the person had posted. They didn t have many reblogs or "notes" so they weren t popular videos. I think the blogger posted them himself and didn t repost them. However while browsing through a list of tagged videos I found my phone slow down greatly and start to heat up a lot. It took my phone a long time to scroll through the videos and it would stall and sometimes a certain video would begin to play but then freeze and not work. It made my phone almost burn to the touch. Is this because of a virus on those videos? Why was it extremely slow to load? Could this have infected my phone, I m worried it will always be overheating now?

No.

That was just the flames of hell burning your iPad. /s Heavy workload made iPhone work hard.

Seriously though, porn rots your brain.

Your phone was basically working hard loading a lot of content using data, doing media playback, etc. That's basically where the increased processing and battery usage likely came from. Not necessarily completely common, but not unusual either. Nothing involving some infection or anything like that (not that there's really much out there for iOS devices when it comes to something like that anyway, especially for non-jailbroken devices).

Always use protection. Condoms are cheap. Phone sex isn't what it used to be. :D

Sounds like even your phone got excited.

Watching videos, and loading pages with lots of videos and graphical content would stress your phone. So I wouldn't worry about it. It just got stressed.

Your biggest problem is probably if your mate sees where you've been and kicks you to the couch.

It was a hashtag that I clicked on and when I clicked on it, it showed a page with all videos pertaining to that hashtag. But literally it took 10 minutes just to scroll down. I've never seen this happen before. You sure it isn't some random dude who inserted these virus ridden videos? Ive seen some of his videos elsewhere and those same videos are reblogged, except he didn't reblog it, he reposted it as his own. Maybe thats when he embedded a virus? I don't know, Im just paranoid because my phone felt like it was on fire.

Even if there was something weird there it's not something that would affect iOS.

It is weird, ever since this happened, my phone has been having trouble sending and receiving snapchats, messages, and even loading webpages. This is happening all while on LTE. Is this because of what happened?

Probably not. Have you tried rebooting your phone? Might be good to perhaps delete Safari cache and saved data. Perhaps also make sure there's enough free space on the phone too. You an also try resetting network settings.

Im going to try rebooting it. I have reset the cache and data. I think I'm mostly paranoid about what I did on that site. It just has never happened where the page full of tagged videos has loaded so slowly and even displaying blank videos that were supposed to play. What I find worse is that some of the videos were featured more popularly on other tumblr blogs and got much more notes and reblogs, where this particular blog reposted them as his own. Isn't that concerning, especially when your phone nearly burned your skin with heat.

Abstinence does have its benefits.
