Could my iTV be faulty?

I'm tearing my hair out with this, one day it works the next it doesn't with no obvious reason.

My phone, macpro and apple tv are all on the same network and linked to the same itunes account with home sharing on. The net connection is fine as I can rent films without issue.

Sometimes I connect my iphone 3gs via airplay but if i pause the music then go back later often the airplay option has gone. Likewise sometimes iTV sees my macpro and other times it just doesn't - any ideas GRATEFULLY received, thanks.

Thanks, its good to know airplay is flawed and not just my box.

Is homeshare also flawed this way?

Could be wifi issue

I've never had this issue with mine, always there when needed. Could be an issue with your wifi network...
