Any idea why this is happening? Do I have to mount this DMG on a USB...? Because in previous years I have just mounted it to the system drive with no issue...

Same issue, not a developer, but when I mount the DMG and try to install, it verifies with Apple and gives me this message.

Yeah, this is so weird, why is this happening? Never encountered this before, even with Yosemite developer betas...

It's weird, I just burned it to a USB and tried to boot it. Kernel panicked my computer consistently (4 times at the exact same moment). No idea wtf is wrong :/

I don't understand what is different for me this time

Have you tired with FileVault off? I saw that solution somewhere. Was causing kernel panics when attempting install. Haven't gotten a chance to try it yet.

I do have it turned off sadly :( Thank you for your help though!

In the comments it says to put it on a usb and it works. Hope someone can figure this out.

Yeah, comments on that torrent didn't show up until I made an account on kickass. Seems a little odd, I don't want to make more steps than necessary, so I am trying out another torrent now.

I doubt a different one would be any different. It just seems apple is authorizing them now.

Simple! Rename the app to "Install OS X Yosemite" and use DiskMakerX. Point it to that renamed file in Applications. Install. I'm running it now.
