Haven't got my ipad yet, and was wondering if someone could be so kind as to let me know if there are any books available on iBooks by Stephen Donaldson, along with their price, if possible.

Many thanks indeed. Much appreciated.

Kevin.

Only found Fatal Revenant for $12.99.

Then there is The Runes of the Earth, but it's listed as "Steven Donaldson," also $12.99.

I only saw " The runes of the earth" for 12.99

Bit disapointing that is the only one. Was hoping the first two chronicles trilogys would be there, but thanks anyway for letting me know.

That's interesting. His name is definitely Stephen, not Steven, but Runes is one of his books too. Looks like some sloppy listings being done by Apple.

The cover of both books show the proper spelling. It could very well be listed that way by the publisher.

I have a feeling the publisher enters that information themselves, or at least provides it in a format that Apple can just "copy & paste" into the store.

As an FYI, there are several available in the Kindle store (and for less than Apple's $12.99).

My initial impression of the iBooks store is that it sucks. So far I've looked for technical books, some science fiction, and a few miscellaneous items. My search results always end with: "your search had no results."

Good thing iPad has a Kindle app. I'm thinking about just deleting iBooks and using Kindle app exclusively. The only books I have in iBooks right now are what I bought from Pragmatic Programmer, and I can get them in other formats (like PDF for Goodreader).

So far iBooks is a big fail unless you like to read the top sellers. Whatever.
