ITunes Radio, for reference, gets it perfectly.

This is what Google thinks. Any idea on how to not get German Children's Music?

I did the same search and yes, was created with a nice playlist of German (kids?) songs. So they missed the beat on this one.

Does it really warrant an entire thread for this specific issue? Just looks like you're trying to troll Google.

I was hoping it was just a me issue and somebody could help me figure out how to get my Disney working. D:

Why would I troll Google?

Step back and take a look at your post...looks like a nitpicky criticism of Google, especially when you compare it to iTunes.

If you were looking for assistance, you didn't ask for any. Just pointing out what it looks like.

Try searching for a specific Disney song, click the menu button and select Start Radio. May not be the perfect solution but it should pull in similar music.

I guess I'm just kind of miffed that I can't move from Pandora, and that with all of the data that Google has it vexes me with a lack of easy Disney in that same way.

I'll try that.

I have to admit, I'm a little surprised that Google doesn't get this one right--pretty straight forward and I'm guess it would be reasonably popular. My kids have certain spend enough time with Radio Disney.

I just searched Disney in Google play music and it gave me lots of Disney style radio.

I just searched again and got the same results as you---I swear they weren't coming up before. May Google IS listening...listening to EVERYTHING. ;)

----------

Weird. Is it because I chose the Artist Station and not a song station?

I wasn't getting any of the radio stations that MRU's shot shows until I just searched again. Maybe a coincidental hiccup with the service right at the time you and I were searching before.

Is Google Play Radio where you have to pay $10 p/m? I like iTunes Radio cause it's free. It ain't perfect but free is free. ;)

Now I just need to find the right station that has both Disney movie songs and Disney channel songs. MRU, know the magic words? Because it seems to be one or the other, or Disney channel stars messing up old Disney movie songs.

I don't know the cost, I'm free until later this year, but yes.

I just put Disney in search bar. Then scrolled down to radio stations from those results. For some reason it's sticks radio stations at bottom.

I did a search in the Google Play Store and it came up with Google Play Music. It mentions the first 30 days free and $9.99 per month afterwards. I'm not sure if it's the same thing.

Yep, iTunes radio isn't available here. I subscribed to GPM as soon as it came out so I save €2 per month. For €7.99 less than price of one album i get access to tons of music on all my devices and genuinely have become a big fan. All my music on my computer is synced too (26,000 tracks) and it's cross platform unlike iTunes radio when it is available.

I wish Google was better with interfaces. This layout makes no sense to me.

That's the one. And I also am grandfathered into the introductory price at $7.99/mo.

It's different from iTunes Radio--better comparison is Rdio or Spotify in that you can do more than just listen to radio stations. On Google Play Music, I can listen to any specific song/album in their entire catalog whenever I choose. I can build specific playlists or add entire albums to my library. Even better is I have uploaded my entire iTunes library into Google Play Music so I have access to it anywhere.

The app isn't the best as far as design goes but since they integrated Songsa into their service, music discover has gotten much better, IMO.

Does Google Play Radio include offline mode like Spotify? I'm waiting to see what Apple delivers with their streaming service. It's between Spotify and Apple. I personally like iTunes Radio because i've read that it's bit rate is 256kps. Spotify is 320 kps and it allows you to download music.

You can download anything directly to your device (Android or iOS) for offline listening.
