I want to switch from Rogers to Bell, as I have an iPhone 3G S on Rogers right now, and Bell is a much better carrier in practically every way, for me at least. (Plans, connection speed, etc.)

I believe the ETF is $450, no? Turns out it's $100. Nice. According to this video, all I have to do is pop the Bell SIM card in my iPhone and I'm off to the races; I don't need a whole new phone or even to unlock it.

That being said, after I drop the $450 or whatever, how do I go about switching? Take it to a Bell store and say gimme a SIM card?

($450 is a lot, but not when I can save around $25 a month on my iPhone...)

Wow. On another note, I was randomly HUNG UP ON by Bell during a conversation. Seriously? I hope their customer service changes...

EDIT: Never mind. I went from the worst service (which could have just been a mistake) to the best, most friendly female customer service I've had in my life. She didn't even trash Rogers and said they're a good option, Bell is just better. I really respect that.

Phenomenal customer support from Bell. Hoohah.

i am on Rogers and was checking out the "competitors" prices where are you located? if you dont mind me asking, i have thought of jumping over to another company if the Plans, connection speed, etc. and is good.

if i can get as good a connection or better then rogers and for cheaper i'd like to.
