So my 1 month old MacBook Pro M1 has its first minor dent. I’m not too bothered but it is kind of annoying, because it never dropped nor anything else.. so what could have caused this small incision? It is very small but it is there, so I’m just curious how it could have gotten there
I wouldn’t want it to be pitting , as I heard that’s a common sweat issue and perhaps have more of these dents in future
As of now, this is barely noticeable

Are you using a hard shell case or anything to protect the outside? I've had cases make marks like that on iPhones before when debris gets caught in between the case and the metal.

No, I’m not and that’s exactly why I’m a bit sad but fair enough , at least it’s not anything big. There is also a small paint chip at the back, no idea how they got there.
