No, currently using the likes of Zoom for video meetings which just couldn’t happen without a front facing camera.

It's a great hypothetical demographic question to find out how many people theoretically don't care about the front camera.

I do, and the notch doesn't bother me. (If apple could produce a phone with the same form factor and functionality I would like it more, but don't think it's possible, at this time)

No, don't need the front camera, I don't do video calls or take selfies, but I know I'm in the minority.

I never use the cameras on my iPad either, now if only they can get rid of those.

The main use of my phone is Facetime video calls. I need the front camera. I'd also really miss FaceID as I much prefer that to TouchID.

Don’t need the front camera at all, I have a response of disgust when someone wants to FaceTime and all they will see is the back camera showing my cat.

Use the front camera for FaceTiming often. In fact, on the iPad at least I'd like a second front-facing camera on a side bezel for better camera orientation during landscape calls. Not as important on the iPhone.

I use FaceTime and video calls on a couple of other platforms almost everyday so yeah it’s absolutely necessary for me. The notch never bothered me anyway.

Quite the poll options you have listed here. How about a simple YES/NO/MEH? Up until the virus lock down, I'd have said I don't care one way or another, but now, yup, it's needed. I'm not much of a selfie guy, but did just get a new puppy so I'll take an occasional one. Sometimes with my kid too, so prior I could've lived without it. Now due to more recent turn of events, I find myself using it more often, so I'd rather have it than not. By the way, what is this notch you speak of? That's how I feel about that...

Easily. Never take a selfie. Dont see the point. FaceTime is avoided like the plague

Existence of front facing camera is critical, as ability to do video calls are expected on any modern smartphones.

The notch is not really correlated to the front facing camera, as there are many Android phones that managed to get rid of the notch entirely by having alternative methods for the front facing camera (pop-up, flip over, etc). The notch is for FaceID, so the question probably should be whether you want FaceID or not.

I have to question why some of you even bother owning an iPhone? You pick it apart, you complain. Go buy a Chinese phone if America bothers you that much lol.

Just saying 🤷🏻‍♂️

don’t use it loads but for certain times it useful certainly Hoilday pics when it’s allowed of course.

Nope, it was assembled there though. That’s the only reason why they are so “cheap”

I could probably live without it, but the ability to take a quick selfie is useful!

What's funny is when I'm taking a "special" selfie, like with my girlfriend on our anniversary or something important like that, I tend to use the back camera (composing blind) because the quality is a lot better. Sometimes it takes a couple tries to get it right, but the extra quality is worth it.

I don’t use the front camera very much but the notch is required for Face ID. The notch is neither good or bad because it’s a non issue. It doesn’t block content for me and I’m not OCD enough to be bothered by a notch in the top of the screen.
