Could your 2016 MacBook Pro 13 with touch bar be open by one finger?

As we all know that MacBook can be open by one finger. But my mac can't do that.

Depends on the surface. My desk (wood/laminate) no as it slides back. But my countertops in the kitchen (quartz) yes I can.

The only point of opening it with one finger was a marketing astetic to show it was better crafted and balanced than other laptops.

It really doesn't serve any function outside of that case.
