I can't wait for this tweak to be updated but I don't know if it ever will. How would it work now that you have control center interfering. Do you guys know if chpwn will update it?

I was just going to ask this same question. I'm following him on twitter but he hasn't said anything. I think it will work if you disable control center within apps, which is a setting apple offers standard already.

I think it can be updated and should be updated. In iOS 6, he already offered the ability to limit the areas where zephyr swipes would work because a lot of apps had their own internal swipe gestures. This isn't any different that the stock swipes in iOS 7. He allowed us to set specific areas where zephyr would work leaving the rest to whatever apps had swipes. I don't see why he can't just continue doing that for iOS 7.

Plus on the bottom, he could divide the bottom into halves. Then say the left half swipe up gesture is for control center and the right half swipe up gesture be for multitasking. Or even divide it into thirds and say the outer thirds be for control center and middle be for multitasking. Really it should be, set it up for however you want it.

My point is, he already figured out a way to work around native gestures. No reason not to expand on that just a little to accommodate the new features in iOS 7.

Can you tell I'm a huge zephyr fan? Hahaha top 3 tweaks ever made hands down.

To be honest I could care less about swipes the main reason I used zephyr in 6.1 was to access multitask bar

Only way to realistically do it (ignoring 2-finger gestures because those are just stupid on a 4" display) would be to split the gestures based on where you slide from. If you slide near the top, near the status bar, then it'd do multitasking. If it's in the lower 75% then it's to do the regular "back" functionality.

Exactly what I'm saying. It's silly to think zephyr can't work on iOS 7. Whether chpwn updates it or not remains to be seen. But fundamentally it can work.

Right, sorry, I didn't look through all the posts, just replied directly to the OP. But yeah I'm sure it can be done. Furthermore, the devs could always give options for those who don't really need the back/forward gestures.

I think switching multi tasking and control center would be the solution I'd prefer. So swipe up for multi tasking and double press home button for control center.

No worries. I wasn't calling you out or anything like that. I was simply saying we agree. Either way, I really hope zephyr gets updated for iOS 7. It's such a useful tweak.

With Virtual Home I don't think I need this app anymore. On my iPhone 5 and 4S I hated double tapping to multitask and still do.

But it's only for the 5S

Try Control Task. Puts app switcher in control center.

I would like zephyr for switching between apps without bringing up the switcher though.

For some reason control task crashes my 5s whenever I invoke CC. Trying to figure out what is conflicting with it. Originally thought it was CCtoggles but it wasn't. Those 2 combined would make me pretty happy.

As for zephyr, bumpy has it right. No reason why it couldn't work. Just hope Chpwn updates it. One of my all time favorites too. I current have activator set to launch multitasking with slide in from left or right bottom. It works fine but doesn't have the same feeling/animation. If activator had a function for previous/next app that would be acceptable. Better than nothing.

CcToggles can help add a multitask button to Control Center and it is leaps and a outs ahead of cccontrols

Was looking for zephyr to work aswell, but yesterday i found another app that works pretty much the same, activator, using the touchid-function to scroll through multitasking, so i don't even need to push the home button, just touch it, feels really good and fast.

That works, except it takes 2 steps.

How do you use activator to scroll through multitasking?

Zephyr must be released for iOS 7, it's the most anticipated tweak. And I find it very easy to avoid conflicts with iOS 7 gestures, he just needs to move control centre to notification centre replacing useless MISSED section, and for the switching between app he needs to do it on upper 1/3 part of the screen, so just we could still use stock swipe back gestures a bit lower.
Someone has already said that double tapping home button for multitasking sucks, I just want to agree with that, I hate it.

Just get MultitaskingGestures

NO and NO again. With MultitaskingGestures you will lose your stock swipe back feature, or you will have to choose between swipe back or app switching. And apart from that, what really makes Zephyr better that MultitaskingGestures is that in latter with swipe from bottom gesture you can only close apps, in Zephyr with this gesture you can close apps or open Multitasking, whichever you want with just one gesture.

What do you mean? Just disable the app switcher on the settings?

MultitaskingGestures does both with the latest version. IMO it even works better than Zephyr.

i will show you my settings, no need for zephyr anymore!:

After reading this thread I thought I would give mulititaskinggestures a try and am I glad I did! This is an awesome tweak! It even moves the control center to a tap in the NC if you want, which is what works for me. Love it! Thanks!

You can have all of that in the latest version. The only thing that isn't possible right now is having CC + Close app + App switcher simultaneously. Just 2 of the 3. Although using an activator gesture for the 3rd or moving CC into NC is a viable workaround.
