Couldn't install macOS Big Sur 11.0.1 beta to 11 beta 10 on USB SSD

Every time when the system reboots from macOS 11.0.1 beta update, the mac lose the ability on finding the startup partitions on all USB disks and only internal SSD boots. I have internal SSD for macOS 10.15.7, a USB hard drive for macOS 10.15.7 CCC backup and a USB SSD for macOS 11 beta testing.

Power off and start again, the mac could find the startup partitions, but the updating process is lost.

Does anyone successfully installed the macOS Big Sur 11.0.1 beta on a USB disk of macOS 11 beta?

I did, on a Hackintosh, as I used to do before with a Mac. Exactly the same process and it worked.

Thank you for your reply. I reset NVRAM and now my Mac works again. So the issue was not on macOS 11.0.1 beta, but on some uncertain settings.
