I’m so incredibly happy with my AirPods Pro 2 that I couldn’t resist getting a second pair. They sound phenomenally good!

Are you happy with yours?

Interesting! :) You're so happy with them you got a second pair. I have to ask: did extra ears grow so now you can use 2 pairs at once? :) ;-)

Glad to like them. I've been thinking of upgrading mine but I think I'll put that off until the battery charge is no longer acceptable on my 1st gen models. Maybe gen 3 will come out by then, or not...

My wife uses 2 pair. She uses one pair until they die. Then she walks over to the charger and grabs the fully charged pair and sets the dead one on the charger.

That is some intensive use! :) I gather each pair has about 4 to 5 hours of use per charge.

I wear them 24/7. I also prefer my APP2’s to be fully charged. One pair of APP2 just doesn’t cut it for me! Lol

I appreciate your reply. In what way do you find the Bose QCs ANC better than the APP2? What are the differences?
Didn’t they just mention the fit & ANC is better for them?

& because the fit determines the ANC effectiveness, it’s more proof that in-ear Bud ANC quality‘s a subjective matter.

They fit my ears better and I find the anc better. For the airpod pros I have tried comply tips and they didn't help me. I do think it depends on how your ears are shaped as to which buds you like better. Airpod pros are very uncomfortable for me to wear. They do work well in terms of pairing with my watch whereas I have not been able to pair the bose with it at all.

I recently bought the AirPods Pro 2 after losing my Pro 1 pair. Honestly, I find the new ones great except for when it’s breezy or windy. Sounds like I’m in a wind tunnel even with the noise cancellation on. They are fine, if I have on a headband to block the wind.

I concur, the shape of your ear canals are crucial wether they’re going to fit or not. Other brands might just be a better fit for you.

Yeah they can get a little weird in windy situations. I’ve noticed that too.

I like them OK to pair with my Apple Watch but I prefer my Bose QC 2- for me the bose are more comfortable to wear and the anc is better
I’m not sure in whether my boss qc 2 anc is better or not than my APP1. But one thing is for sure my qc 2 can be worn on a coast to coast flight for most of the trip, has great sound, is extraordinary comfortable and not require a charge.

When I commute though my APP1 is just perfect.

And thumbs up to the OP for the unsolicited thumbs up in the app2.

I bought a pair of the original APPs last year, but they were very uncomfortable even with the small eartips. Took a gamble on a pair of the 2nd editions; the XS eartips are less uncomfortable, but I've bought some Azla Xelastec eartips in SS (supersmall) size, and they are much more comfortable. I think it's the type of material used in the Apple eartips that irritates, but the XS size is definitely an improvement.

As for sound quality; I was very impressed with the originals on that score, and they sounded better to me than a pair of Sony XM3 earbuds, which had issues connecting anyway. I really like how easy it is to connect the Airpods to whatever device I'm using, be it my iPhone, iPad, iMac or AppleTV. So easy. Other brands are nowhere near as good at this. The Sony's fell out regardless of whichever eartips I used, and are heavier. The APP 2s are superb, imo.

Also; most other wireless earbuds look weird, and stick out loads, with large bulging protruberances. The APPs have just thin stems sticking out, far less ugly. Purely aesthetics, but aesthetics are important...

I would not know why I would need a second pair for myself! 😅 But I love them very much!

I bought 2 pairs, one for me and one as a birthday present for my husband. A day after we received them we went on holiday by plane. And we both adored the ANC and also the transperency mode on the plane.
