P pdechavez macrumors regular Original poster Dec 26, 2007 235 0 Sep 16, 2010 #4 I'm on the Mac side using steam for macs. Team fortress 2 and CS:S running at the 9600Gt card. Could it be that my hdd needs formatting? From what I hear from people, they're getting an extremely smooth gameplay.

That's the weird thing. Everything was turned off, each player and environment looked like clay.And I was still getting spikes of 10-25fps
