Counter-strike problems

So I used crossover to dl steam and get cs. When I launched it > Find Servers > it says searching then when I pause searching it says no internet games responded to the query. Is there something I need to do to connect to the internet to play steam? Because its not working And yes my internet does work lol. Thanks.

First suspicion would be on your firewall? Is it turned on? If so, turn it off, try game again. If that works, turn your FW back on, and add CS as an exception.

uh firewall on steam? im confused? i dont think i have firewall 0.o and i havent played any other online games on steam just that but yeh all my apps i download work that i go online for and internet, ect.

oh my firewall says "allow all incoming connections" not blocking anything dont know why im not picking up any servers
