I have Windows XP through Boot Camp on my 15.4" MBP 2.2ghz, 4GB RAM, 128MB VC. I only have 10GB partitioned to Boot Camp so I have Steam installed on a 750GB External Hard Drive. CS and Portal run perfect coming from the Hard Drive but they both make the MBP run up to 80 degrees celsius. I also use SMC on OSX to bring the fan speed up 5K RPM and switch to Boot Camp to keep it running cool. But it still gets hot. As soon as I quit the heat goes down but Im worried about the heat during play. Anyone else experiencing this? Any Ideas or help on what to do?

I think it's normal for it to reach these temperatures, considering what you're asking of it. I wouldn't try to do anything about it, just let the computer take care of itself and all will be fine.

I've been thinking about getting some low noise large fans for my MBP...

Wondering what a bank of 80mm or 120mm fans would do.

I play CS on BC and mine does the same its natural for the heat i have a chill pad under more so i dont burn my legs but as for helping to cool it down not so much
