I dont know the seller and I am not sure if he has a receipt. I'll try calling apple stores and see if they can help. Is there a way i can see it in the iphone?

If he isn't willing to give you that info, then he probably isn't worth buying from.

I will ask the seller, but since I dont know him I would be more sure if I check it from the phone directly.

When you get the phone, you should just pop in an AT&T sim and see if it works.
