Couple of issues

Finally changed my iphone 8 to IOS14.1 last night.
Three immediately noticeable issues (no doubt they have been asked before.. apologies, it is a busy forum):

1 - When screen is locked and an email comes through, in 13 it would remain locked, I would press it to preview read it, and could select trash, mark as read etc - and only then would have to use touch ID to action it.
On 14 when I try to do this, I have to Touch ID first before I can preview it or select the trash/read, and some mails don't give me the option at all.
Is there a hidden setting somewhere I am missing that has changed?

2 - On the alarm screen, can I remove the entire sleep section. This sleep thing is turned off as I have no use for it, but it still leaves a big 'NO ALARM' thing in the alarm section.
Any way of completely removing this?

3 - When I connect the phone to my mac to charge/connect to iTunes, I get a nag box every time :

Am I doomed to deal with this every single time I plug it in until I move beyond mojave?

Regarding 3 - this is an update for iTunes, so that it will be able to connect to devices running 14.x. Just Install. You do not have to upgrade from Mojave.

#1 isn’t 3D press gone? Replaced with long press. I’ve never used email banner notifications because I only get from marketers or bills from companies. But in looking each account has ability to set notification style. Is it tied to that?

Yes.
No change to notification settings that I can see.

Works exactly as before for text messages & whatsapp - able to press, read and reply from lock screen without unlocking....change seems to be to email - asks for touch ID before able to do anything (using default apple mail app before anyone asks).
Annoying.
