Just got my new shuffle today. I was excited to see buttons again when Jobs announced it last week, so I decided to get one despite having a 3rd gen shuffle that has been perfect for running.
The player is great, but it is small. I have medium to large hands and it is a bit hard to control while holding it, it's better to clip it on then control it.
The rear clip is hard to use without hitting the |<< back button.
The podcasts get lumped into the root dir when synced instead of in their own podcast playlist as with the 3rd gen shuffle which I really liked.
All in all, I miss the inline controls and will be using my 3rd gen shuffle earbuds with the 4th gen shuffle for on the fly controls while running. Wouldnt have bought it if I had known that, but it never hurts to add an ipod to the collection, especially for $50.
