Couple of questions regarding MobileMe service

Ok so first.

I want to use MobileMe's 20gb storage to hold my iTunes music folder.

Is there an easy way to do this. When I try to add things to iDisk, it seems I can only add individual folders. That would take forever to add each album individually.

The second question is regarding calendar. On google I used to add calendars for national holidays and football fixtures, is it possible to do similar with MobileMe.

I would not keep your iTunes music folder on your iDisk... Are you wanting to do this for backup?

I don't not have a mac, so I'm unsure on how I can get these calendars into MobileMe, from the web interface I cannot seem to import any calendars.

And yes, the iTunes on iDisk is just for backup. It's the one set of data I really couldn't get back easily if lost, so thought it would be a good use of the storage

Do you have an iPhone and a iPad? ..trying to use MobileMe without a Mac, though technically possible, is an absolute waste imo..

If you're just looking to backup your iTunes or use it from the cloud, why don't you look into Dropbox instead? for $99/year you could be getting a lot more storage with dropbox

The U.S. calendar doesn't seem to be accurate since it still has Tax Day as April 15.

From Windows set up a network drive to iDisk, should be able to drag and drop your folders & contents into this.

Plus I don't see how having a mac makes it that much more powerful.

Yes you use iCal to sync calendar, and address book to sync contacts, but this is also available on windows whether through outlook, or windows contacts, but truth be told, I don't really have a need for my pc to be in the loop for contacts and calendar, would rather just have my iPhone and iPad syncing together, and the contacts data backed up to the cloud, and then use me.com on the pc if needed.

I never thought of mapping a network drive, that seems to be the way. Thanks

as said above you can map it like any other drive. also how cheap was very cheap? UK is not so cheap

Im sorry but in a hurry today... Im not sure if the "Backup 3" software that comes with MobileMe is windows compatible... I don't think so but have a look and see: http://support.apple.com/kb/DL1025

It offers built-in backup sets for iTunes, iPhoto and many others...
