I don't know if this is the right place for this question but I'll shoot anyhow.

1. What is the best application available for MAC (preferably free) for burning ISO images?

2. Which USB port on the back of the new Imac has constant power if any for charging Iphone or Ipod? (I heard this somewhere can't remember where though)

Thank you,

And sorry for being a Mac noob just got my first mac on Sunday. 24"

2: any usb 2.0

Just to clarify, that should mean all of them. All the ports on the iMac itself are the same -- full power USB2. They should all provide power even when the Mac is sleeping, etc. The keyboard can also power one high power USB device. Unfortunately, the wired Mighty Mouse is high powered, so if you plug it into your keyboard and then try to plug your iPod into the other side, it won't work.

as an extra point of caution you should remember once the ipod/iphone is charged you should unplug it. It's not good for the battery to be plugged in for more than its charge.

It automatically stops charging itself. It shouldn't be an issue. One thing that you should be careful about, though, is to make sure to eject it as necessary.
