Hello guys, I've got a couple issues with my Mini, it's a 2011 Base Mini with 8GB RAM/128GB Crucial M4 running the latest version of ML. Issue number one, when I take my Mini to my friends for some gaming, we both run off his WiFi (he's on an iMac also running ML), yet I get issues of now and again with mines lagging/dropping out for no apparent reason whilst he remains connected and issue free.

My second problem, is that recently my Apple keyboard (wireless Bluetooth one) is horrible at keeping a connection from 10 feet away, I've always used it whilst laying back on my bed, but now I have to sit forward a couple of feet or it won't hold a connection...any idea's? Thanks in advance..:D

wireless so convenient when it works..

A real pain when it does not.

ideas lots but here is one roll back to lion and see if that helps.

if you can't roll back to lion it is tougher but try to think if you have new gear in your home. sometimes other stuff can interfere.

also at your friend house check setting for wireless router.

also get new batteries for your keyboard mac keyboards are harder on batteries then logitech for example

I have the same problem with my bluetooth keyboard randomly disconnecting at about 10 feet away. Some days it wont drop out at all. Other days it drops out constantly with no rhyme or reason. And yes, I always make sure my batteries are well charged. As far as wireless problems, I have my mini connected via Ethernet, never tried the wireless..

I use hybrid rechargable batteries and I get the issue when at 100% battery :)

There are co-interference issues with Bluetooth and WiFi, especially in weak signal environments. So when you're at the fringe of Bluetooth's range, you can expect dropouts in the presence of WiFi signals.
