I've never used Airdrop before today. I guess I never thought of sending files between my Macs and my iPhone.
Anyway, in all the demo videos I'm seeing they show that you will get prompted to Accept or Decline the transfer. But when I do it, say from my iPhone to my MacBook Pro, the file just gets sent. If it's big enough (that it takes time to transfer) I can cancel but that seems to be about it. Is that the way it works now and these videos are old? Or do I have some security settings that could be wrong?
Second question. When sending a file from my MacBook Pro to iPhone, the iPhone downloads the file but then wants to know what app to open the file with. If there's no appropriate app and I hit cancel. Where does this sent file go? Is it deleted on the phone? Or is there some place like "Downloads" on the Mac that it can be deleted from?
Thanks!
