iPhone Xs on iOS 13 with dark mode enabled.

1) No dark mode in the Numbers app? Did Apple forget this?

2) When you launch Find My, the location services GPS icon starts out as a hollow outline, as expected. Tapping it (which then turns it to a filled in arrow) does nothing. Tapping it again, which changes the reference convention for how North is defined, does nothing. Tapping it again, to return it to the hollow outline, brings you to where your devices are. This behavior doesn't seem right? I would expect it to operate exactly as it does in the Maps application.

3) Perhaps more specific, but in settings for both the Gmail and Capital One app, I have Location set to Never. When I access the options (Never, Ask Next Time, While Using the App), I select Never and it shows a check mark next to it. However as soon as I back out of that, it lists the selection as Ask. All other apps are fine, but these two apps are stuck with Ask and won't let me select either other location option.

4) If I tap the share button when viewing a photo in the Photos app, there's an option to share it to the Books app, and then when you tap More and then Edit, there's no way to remove Books? It lists it as a suggestion, but then unlike other suggestions, there's no toggle to turn it off. Also seeing Books and News options when sharing in Safari, and neither of those are removable either.

5) Maybe it's just me, but I don't see any "Location" option in the options menu when sharing a photo - the only option I ever see is "All Photos Data"?

6) Camera app is preserving last setting (photo, video, etc.) despite having the settings set to not preserve, even if I kill the app completely. Must be a bug.

Killing all apps, restarting phone, etc., doesn't solve any of these issues. Anyone else experiencing the same?

Apple hasn’t released an update for Numbers. If and when they do, it’ll only impact the interface surrounding the content area; it won’t turn the content area dark, just like on macOS.

Works as expected for me. I tested again after removing Location Services authorization from the Find My app, and I could then reproduce the behavior you’re seeing.

I use neither of these apps, so I can’t help with that one.

You can’t remove system apps from the Share sheet (short of removing the apps themselves).

Location data falls under “metadata.”

The Live Photos setting works for me; the others do not.

Even if you think you’re alone in experiencing the behaviors above (the ones that are actually bugs), report them to Apple. They don’t monitor these forums, and they can’t fix bugs if they never hear about them. Use apple.com/feedback or feedbackassistant.apple.com. The latter allows for more technical information and, though the form’s slower to fill out, will likely get you closer to getting it resolved faster as it’s fed directly into Apple’s bug tracking system.

Ok, I was assuming it would be updated with all the other Apple apps - thought I read somewhere that they were all going to be launching with dark mode support at the same time. No big deal either way, I'm sure it's coming.

Thanks, that did it. Have always had location services off in Find My iPhone and replicated it for iOS 13, but now I've turned it on.

All good, hopefully someone else is having this issue.

I'm not sure about this - when I tap the share sheet for a photo and tap More, under Favorites, it brings up Airdrop (can't delete), along with Facebook, Gmail, and Messages, the latter three which I want. Then under Suggestions, it lists Notes, Reminders, and Books. Notes, Reminders, and Books are all system apps which are deletable apps, but when you tap edit, only Notes and Reminders have toggle switches (which I have set to off). There is no toggle for Books, which for all intents and purposes should be handled the same as Notes and Reminders from a functionality standpoint - I should be forced to include or be able to exclude all three.

And also, apps under Suggestions can get added to the Share sheet either via adding them to Favorites via the green plus sign, OR via the toggle (which keeps them out of the Favorites list). However since no distinction is made on the Share sheet itself for Favorites vs. non-Favorites that have been toggled on, it seems pointless to have such a distinction in the first place.

Figured this one out, location services for camera of course has to be on, and then you have to make sure you're trying to share a photo that was taken when location services were set to on. All good on this one.

Mine preserves every setting, including Live, when I have the settings set to not preserve anything. Weird.

I'm fine with not sharing any photo data, I just keep seeing guides specifically quoting a toggle for "Location", which I don't see anywhere (with Location services set to on in settings for the camera).
It did originally say “Location,” if I remember correctly from earlier betas. I’m pretty sure that this was always the behavior, though, and the wording now more accurately reflects that.

Apologies, I was mistaken there.

Would Numbers even be updated to support Night Mode? If I’m working on a spreadsheet I need to make sure looks perfect, I don’t want to worry if I’m in the correct mode and it’ll print the way I want it. Maybe I’m in the minority.

Personally, I’m not sold on Night Mode yet. But I have it set to automatic and will give it a shot.

I edited my post above, you can get the Location option as long as location settings are on and the photo you are sharing was taken when location services were on.

Also it looks like my camera does act the same as yours - live setting (set to preserve the last setting) does work, but the other setting preservations do not (i.e. I want it to NOT preserve the last setting like video and want it to go back to photo when launching the app, but it does not - it stays on video). Guess this one is definitely just a bug.

The background in the list of spreadsheet docs would/should be dark, just as it is in the Files app. At least for the Apple apps I have (I've deleted many of them), this is the only one I have from Apple that currently isn't supporting dark mode.
