Why, when I add cover art to some of the albums in my library, does iTunes sometimes create duplicate ones for the same album??? Sometimes it doesn't and sometimes it does. I've gone into the "get info" tab and checked to make sure everything is spelled the same and that all the same fields are filled in for each. It's still puzzling me. ?????

Try making sure that the composer, sort album artist name, album artist name, etc. are all the same. You can't check this in groups however, you have to check it within each file. This is a problem with ID3 tagging I imagine. It solved my problem. Also, if you get an mp3 tagger and run all of your files through it, it should take care of this problem without having to go through each file. Hope this helps.

click the ALBUM button. Look at the picture in my attachment for a better explanation.
