Hi to all!

I just did a clean install of Catalina, now when I open Music, all track in Playlist View do not show the cover artwork, although they are present because they are embedded in the tracks, if I open the info mask, I see them.

How do I resolve?

It makes me angry because it's a clean installation and you don't expect such a thing especially from an Apple app.

Before formatting, never had such a problem.

Thanks!

Everyone is tired of answering this question. Even Google. Google top level hits on "cover art lost in music app" would be hilarious example of common problem, if it did not make you cry. This is known and persistent for years in iTunes and now Music.app. Google it, I did. This hit seems to have "solution": https://dccxi.com/posts/album-artwork-missing-catalina/ but most Google links go to reports of problems with no known solution on number of boards like this one, including Apple.
Summary: the way Apple implemented cover art handling is way too fragile. Too easy to break.

That link does not seem to have much of a solution in it or at least that I understood. The only solution that I have been able to get to work was manually adding the album cover. Still looking for a solution for updating the artist imagine.

The link did not lead to fix the problem.

For me then, in years of using Mac, it is the first time that something like this has happened to me.

We await a "real solution"!
