Hello,
I’m planning on buying the iPad 9.7 2017 on Black Friday but I’m having some trouble finding a good cover. Do any of you know of any good covers and/or brands?
I’m looking for a cover that protects both front and back (folio style i think?) and can stand at multiple angles (not tri-fold or only 2-3 angles)
I’ve been looking at one from Gebei but I’ve been unable to much info about them. I’ve also looked at an esr cover but it seems it’s not available in my home country (Denmark) so I would have to import it. Finally I’ve looked at one from Sandstrom but it costs around 80$ which I think is a bit too expensive but I’m not sure what I should expect in terms of price.

Thank you in advance.

Thank you, they do look nice. The one you have for Mac does it seem to protect it well, the corners and such? I’m a bit clumsy and have dropped my current iPad a couple of times (with no damage thanks to its cover)

I got the Tucano Sleeve for my MBP because of the look and design. It was also cheaper than most of the other brands. The reviews were great. Their sleeve protects the Mac very well by being spill proof and there is a protective layer between the device and zipper. After years of use, I still get complemented on the sleeve.

On my iPad I have just a front cover and a sleeve for protection when I travel with it. I looked at the Tucano folio cases but opted not to purchase one. There are a few on their website that covers the iPad but aren't rugged. It should work well but make sure you take case of it. The Tucano Folio cases cover the back. They have a snap in technology so that your iPad sits snug inside.

That sounds really good, thank you! I’ve found it at a decent price now too so I’ll probably go with a Tucano case.

Yeah I was thinking of using my Timbuk2 Plush sleeve for when I get my iPad Pro 10.5. Looking at the specs for the 9.7 vs 10.5 iPads, I'm pretty sure you could get away with using any sleeve that's at least 10in. Remember the screen width from corner to corner is what Apple is determining the model. I paid $5 for my Timbuk2 sleeve. I think I will try to see if I can find another one around that price. I would never spend $49 for a sleeve. Tucano makes nice sleeves and I'm happy with mine. If I can't find the Timbuk2 sleeve, I will get another Tucano sleeve. Maybe an 11in sleeve which should fit.

Poetic makes nice smart cases for iPad 9.7 which also fits the iPad Pro 9.7. Both look the same.
