I've got many CD's with different artists on them (such as movie soundtracks and mix records) and when Coverflow creates art, it duplicates the cover as many times as there are different artists.

I've 'fixed' some manually for records such as "Beastie Boys featuring.." as I don't mind the artist just being "Beastie Boys", but for mix albums I'd to know the individual artist.

Is there a way of telling iTunes to not duplicate albums, or do I need to do what I have done already for all my multi-artist records?

Thanks

For albums with different artists on a compilation, select all the songs on the album and click the "compilation" box on the "get info" screen. For albums with one artist but occ a duet eg Akon with Justin Timberlake, set the album artist to Akon.
