I have two albums which are both called "Greatest Hits", but they both show up as one album in coverflow. The album has the first album's cover and when I tip on it and it flips around it shows the songs of both albums.

The second "Greatest Hits" album doesn't show up at all in coverflow.

Any solution to my problem?

cheers

no, it doesn't.

wow. i wish i knew what to tell you. whenever i had problems with cover flow i would just go into itunes and make sure that all of my fields under "get info" were correct. whenever there was a problem it always seemed to be a miss spelling or an extra space somewhere or an extra word that threw my cover flow off. i dont know if that helps you but hopefully

thanks, that what I always did when coverflow was playing tricks on me, but it looks like all the fields are filled in correctly, because it works fine in iTunes. But maybe I need to have a second look into the info section.

It looks like the compilation-management on the iPhone is a bit buggy. Other compilations are displayed incorrectly too.

I would like to know if other iPhone user have similar problems.

Had this problem. But I didn't realize the cause. Your solution is a simple one. Just change the name of the album. Instead of "Greatest Hits" make it "Eagles Greatest Hits" and the other "Sesame Streets Greatest Hits".

The previous poster is right. The coverflow manager for the iphone is buggy in that it complies the database for album art based on the title. So all Greatest Hits will be placed under the first albums artwork. Just append the titles and it will fix.

I think I'll wait till Apple sorts that problem out.

I'm sorry to bump such an old thread, but I had the same issue. Problem is, like some of you, I'm a bit picky about renaming my library with incorrect data just to fix a simple problem. I don't like to see albums titled the way they aren't when you buy them. ;)

Temporary Solution

My fix, which I posted at AT, is to enter a space after an album of the same name. This allows the albums to have different names, but since spaces are invisible, there is no visible defacing of the original album name. Hopefully this is an acceptable solution until Apple fixes the problem.

Thanks for that, I have a problem with cover flow also. Not all the artwork shows up on my ipod though all the artwork is on itunes and is from albums I own which I have downloaded. Has anyone come across this? It's really frustrating as I spent ages tidying the whole thing up!
Thanks

I think this is a recent issue which has cropped up with iTunes as I'm seeing a problem with artwork getting messed up written about in quite a few forums. I too am having a problem with artwork since updating to 8.1.1 (some have had the problem since 8.1, but I never noticed it then)
I wish I had a solution to give you, but I don't.

Neil.
