Is that during a call, or while using an app, or at any and all moments?everytime I put my finger over my front camera or the front light sensor the screen turns black
While that's the behavior in some cases, like on a call, it's not in many others, like just being on your home screen or using most apps (like Safari, Mail, Messages, etc.).Why would you put your finger over the front camera/proximity sensor?
It's supposed to work that way. It turns off the screen when you put your phone next to the ear so that you don't push anything with the tear while talking.
Aside from auto-lock type of settings related to that, I don't believe it does something like that automatically.maybe phone thinks it's been put in a handbag etc and shuts off screen to prevent accidental touches?
