Hey everyone, I found this great new app, CovertSMS, that let's you type a message without looking at the screen. I took some screenshots and attached them. You can set up to 8 quick contacts, and then by sliding from the middle square to it, you are taken to the keyboard. It's six sections, each containing six letters. You press the section with the letter, and those six letters fill the six sections. You release on the right one. Then you go to "123" and then send, and it composes your message. It's easy to pick up on, and great for situations where you can't look at your phone for long periods of time, such as school or work.

wow that seems highly unnecessary. I already memorized my iphone layout and as long as i am already in the txt app i can type a message without looking. Kind of like how I can type this without looking...

This app is primarily designed for the classroom where you can't necessarily hold the phone wherever you want to.

As a high school student, I have no problem getting away with texting... It's just a matter of memorizing the current keyboard. And doing a quick read over before you send for errors that would render the word unidentifiable (usually, with experience doesn't happen anyways)
