CPU being throttled?

Is there a way to check in ML? In boot camp using cpuid its going max 2.9, I thought the 2012 model was suppose to go to 3.1 with turbo boost?

How many cores are in use? I believe turbo boost can increase the cores if you are running a process that does not use all your cores. There are also temperature and power limits, so if the processor is running hot there could be throttling
