CPU + GPU overclocking via NTune

For those who didn't notice yet: NVidia officially offers downloads for their mobile GPU line now. But even more interesting the NTune 6 application works on Macbooks, too.

NTune allows you to overclock/underclock the Frontsidebus (and thus the CPU and RAM), modify RAM timings and overclock/underclock the GPU. Only experienced people who know what they are doing should mess with it, but it's nice to have for those of us who like messing around anyway.

Excellent, I have been looking for a way to overclock my MBP penryn for some time. Anyone tried this on Win7 x64?

EDIT: someone has now, me, and I got two BSoD-ish occurrences, plus I had to go into the program files to uninstall. Don't attempt this on Win7 Beta x64, and it probably wont work on 32-bit either!

Will this also work for the MacBook's GeForce 9400m? Would be really nice if it will.

Works on Vista 64 at least, cause that's where I tried it by a few Mhz up and Down for the CPU and lots of down for the GPU.

Why would you go down on your GPU? Heat issues?

Nope, I'm trying to find a way of keeping the GPU (or better the Nvidia driver) from dynamically switching clock-rates, because that causes so called "DPC Latency spikes" which are bad for Audio production. Doesn't happen with Standard VGA Drivers, but it would be more convinient to get the NVidia ones to perform better (so that switching from production to gaming doesn't need a reboot each time ).
